HOW IS The Gabba REDUCING COVID-19 TRANSMISSION RISK?
Our COVID-safe measures include:

  • Heightened focus on cleaning and sanitisation pre, during and post event with a focus on high traffic areas like hand-rails;

  • Increased health and hygiene signage;

  • A requirement for all patrons to use the Check-in QLD app and provide proof of vaccination or exemption to enter the venue, with any patrons displaying respiratory symptoms not permitted;

  • All patrons given allocated tickets with seat numbers which captures patron details and supports contact tracing; and

  • Cashless payment for food and beverage purchases;

Even with control measures in place there remains an unquantifiable risk of transmission of any viral illness including COVID-19 – so we encourage patrons to self-manage while onsite and base attendance on current COVID-19 information and personal circumstances.
